Rishi Salvi is an Indian taxi driver.  He lives in a small one room house in the suburbs of the city of technology, Bangalore,  India.  He too has dreams.  Like everyone else in this city.

He wants to make his 7-year old daughter's dreams come true. Gudiya will be a ballet dancer one day. He dreams of the day when his family will go in an aeroplane for a holiday to Thailand.  He dreams of buying jewelry for his wife, Nina.  He dreams of a large house with three bedrooms, where Gudiya will have her own room and Nina's parents can come to visit.   Gudiya will study in college, and he can buy Nina the sitar she always wanted to play.  Maybe one day he will earn enough to get himself a college degree...

One day, Gudiya complains of a headache that won't go away.  The next day, her legs give way under her.  The third day she is sent home from school because she collapsed three times.

Rishi needs to put together enough money for an expensive medical test that will diagnose her illness, suspected to be Guillain–Barré syndrome, a rapid onset muscle weakness disorder that can attack the respiratory muscles, or risk losing her should she suffer another setback.

It so happens he is also behind on his taxi payments just now, and facing repossession if he doesn't pay up very soon.

When Rishi finds an envelope in his car with money and documents, he must choose between his values and his pressing needs.  He is troubled by how karma will treat him if he makes the wrong decision. What will he do and how will it affect the lives of those he loves?
